  1. I'd want the Yankees to make it. Cleveland is the most underrated team in baseball. Solid hitting, and probably the best all around staff. Plus theres nothing better than a Sox/Yanks 7 game series.
  2. Yeah O's, wooooooooo!
  3. Donovan McNabb doesnt scare you? Not only is he one of the best passers in the league, but he one of the quickest QBs on his feet as well.
  4. Also Id like to add the fact that Vinateri has 18 game winning field goals... And another thing, I have tried to kick a field goal before, thats one of the toughest things to do. While I used to not be too bad at baseball in my day, granted I only played until I was 13, but stuff like that you also have to look at as well.
  5. Wow, they got screwed over.
  6. Yeah I saw that. Makes you kinda feel guilty about the win, but hey, s*** happens.
  7. Your last post made no sense to me, haha. I think I might know what your trying to say but I'm not sure, and honestly, I am too tired to argue with you. So I'll just keep it simple. Philly will be in the Super Bowl.
  8. Trust me, when you have one of the top 3 WRs and QBs, and 2nd best all around running back, with solid tight ends and a great line, they are one of the best all around offenses in the leage. They might not have shown it so far, but if they ever do what they are capable of, they will be a tough team to beat.
  9. Uhh... Philly should scare you... not only the best offense in the league, but they have a pretty damn solid defense. Westbrook is probably the 2nd best all around back to LaDanian Tomlinson, McNabb is one tough son of a bitch, and could be one of the best passers in all of football, TO is TO. I have never seen a team like this that can score like they do with just 2 main options.
  10. Yeah, if you look at the Colts this year, yeah, theyre defense has been nothing short of spectacular, but Manning hasnt thrown a TD since Week 1. He hasnt been the dominant force he was the past few years, so I still think they are beatable, perhaps more beatable than ever. I still think that the Pats are the best team in the conference.
  11. Kinda like Brian Roberts elbow...
  12. No, Willis' was waaaaaay worse.
  13. All this does is put the spotlight on Eugene Wilson, and I firmly believe that Wilson is as good as Harrison. Hes just as hard of a hitter, and IMO, hes better in coverages. Granted we havent seen much leadership skills from him, but he is still one of the better safeties in the league.
  14. Another note - The Pats have won 3 of the last 4 Super Bowls by a field goal.
  15. Vinateri. Just imagine the pressure. Time winding down. Super Bowl. Tie game. Thats probably the most pressure you could ever get in any sport. And to make game-winning field goals in s***** conditions, snow, rain, bad fields, loud crowds, I would think will be harder. I mean, barely do they play in the rain in baseball, let alone the snow. Its tough to compare them, but I think Vinateri has won more games with his leg than Ortiz has with his bat.
  16. We also have one of the most unbelievably underrated recieving groups as well. Branch is probably one of the most, if not the most underrated reciever in the game. Givens has amazing blend of size and speed. Brown is one of the most sure handed guys you can find. Add in the tight ends with Watson and Graham, and Faulk out of the backfield, you have 5 legitimate targets for Brady to go for.
  17. Brady just proved again why he is the best QB in the NFL. Another 4th quarter comeback. He was 12-12 for 168 yards in the 4th quarter. Just un-f***ing-believable how good this guy is. Also, I think this might be one of the best wins the Pats have had in recent memory. Losing 2 of their top players, being down, everything, just an unbelieveable game. Certainly lived up to its hype.
  18. There was nothing Brady could have done about that one. It was a pretty good throw, probably would have been complete, but Von Oelhoffin (?) made a pretty damn good play.
  19. Well... we dont need a Yankee game thread, as it will just influence more Yankee fans to come to this site, and clog even more threads with Sox vs Yankees banter. I just dont see a need for Yankees game threads.
  20. Again, before the Sox game thread? We need not be concerned about the Yankees. We need to be concerned about the Sox winning, not what the Yankees do.
  21. Hahahaha... what the hell? That was so random...
  22. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Win... HUGE.
  23. Yeah, Clement needs to find the strike zone, big time.
  24. Haha, sometimes I wish they could hear us...
  25. Hahahahahaha. Sox need to get Clement some runs right now. Even more. I want this to be a blow out.
