  1. So your saying the first 7 innings dont count? Dont get me wrong, I love Ortiz's big hits, and hope he wins this, I just think A-Rod has been more valuable to his team.
  2. Not me. I knew they were going to be a solid team coming into the season. I didnt think Cadillac would be doing that well yet either.
  3. I'm not worried about this game yet. Quick stop after the half and a FG or TD puts us right back in it.
  4. Good job, you got it right this time, congrats.
  5. This has probably been said, but this is why A-Rod is the MVP. If you compare him with Ortiz, they have similar stats. A-Rod plays the field which gives him a leg up in some peoples minds. Now if you took A-Rod out of the Yankees lineup, you would be taking out the only consistent player on that team (maybe with the exception of Rivera). But if you took out Papi, you would still have Manny, Varitek, Mueller, and a few other guys who have had very solid seasons. Now you might argue that Ortiz has more game winning hits, but I think those are overrated, because they count for the same amount whether they come in the 1st inning, 9th inning or 983rd inning. The award is Most VALUABLE Player. And I interpret that as the player who has the most value to his team. And this year I truly believe it was A-Rod. You could make a case for Ortiz, and an even better one for Victor Martinez, but from a non-biased point of view, A-Rod is the MVP. Go ahead, bash away. It will just show how biased you people are for thinking Ortiz is more valuable.
  6. I think A-Rod is the MVP.
  7. Who cares? That has pretty much nothing to do with this thread.
  8. Manny is such a f***ing stud.
  9. I kinda feel bad for the guy. Its obvious hes not pitching his best, and hes taking s*** for it, and he doesnt like it. I dont blame him for saying that.
  10. No, I have faith, and I think they will. Just the way they have been playing lately, and the Yankees coming on strong, and the Guardians and A's playing good ball anything can happen.
  11. ...if they even make it...
  12. Oh wow, I didnt know you could do that... haha. Woulda done it a long time ago to some people...
  13. Actually I'm not, I'm dead serious. You never know with him. But if he was being sarastic, props to him.
  14. Actually. It was only funny if he was being sarcastic. If he was serious, its just plain stupidity.
  15. Hahahahhahahahahahahahah
  16. Its impossible to forget that one...
  17. The reason they lost was Pennington. I was watching the game, and he was not the Pennington of a few years ago. He has little arm strength, and was underthrowing guys with a lot of frequency. Thats going to be a big problem if he doesnt get that problem straightened out.
  18. How about the Dolphins tearing the Broncos a new *******? I watched the Saints/Panthers game. Awesome game. That kick by Carney seriously grazed one of the uprights, thats how close it was.
  19. Federer vs. Agassi in the final. I want to see Agassi win, but its just not practical. Federer cant be beat when he imposes his game on his opponent. People say Agassi is the best returner, but I think Federer is right up there as well.
  20. Lucky bitch... you have no idea how much I wanted to go to the US Open this year... Me and my friends are going next year though, and we are going to the Hot Dog Eating Contest as well in Coney Island
  21. Id like this deal. We still lose a great player in Pierce, but still gain a solid starting point guard, and another raw but talented big man.
  22. Thu, Sep 8 New England Sun, Sep 11 Minnesota Miami Pittsburgh Chicago Carolina Jacksonville Buffalo Cincinnati Kansas City Detroit San Diego St. Louis Arizona Indianapolis Mon, Sep 12 Atlanta
  23. If Curt pitches well today, I think every person that is a fan of the Red Sox would let out a collective sigh of relief because if we want to make a run at a repeat, he is going to need to be the Schilling of last year.
  24. Just finished watching Sanguinetti/Srichiphan. It was a pretty good match. Sanguinetti was down 2 sets to 1 and he came back and won in a 5th set tiebreak. Very entertaining match.
