Yeah, I do remember Vince last year, but every player isnt the same. Moving Francis to Boston wouldnt really do much, since Boston and Orlando are pretty much the same right now, both 1 game back of the 8th spot. Plus you also have to look at the team we have right now. With such a young and impressionable team, do you think it would be the right move to bring in a guy who was suspended by his team for refusing to go into a game? I think that this year Ricky has been an amazing asset to this team, not to mention him playing on the second unit. I doubt Francis would agree to playing on the second unit here. To do what you said to get rid of Blount, who is easily one of our better post players, and Davis who has had his best year as a pro (along with Pierce) to get a guy having a down year. I dont think that smart.
With the Celtics, Ricky has been playing the best basketball of his career, and the way I see it he can only get better, as he is entering his prime years. Francis is already in his prime years and will be leaving them soon.
And about that Dallas game. I dont see how you could say that was Ricky's fault. He did all he could to deny the ball to Stackhouse, but Stackhouse ran over and got a handoff, and Davis got caught a little on the pick. Stackhouse got a step, and Ricky was still able to recover somewhat and get a hand in his face. Also, that is Stackhouse's bread and butter, that little 18 foot jumper. He had made at least 3 already in the game up to that point. So I dont see how you can blame Ricky on that one...
