  1. I wasn't saying he would, I was just saying based on the type of pitcher he was. In any case, Wake is and always will be one of my all-time favs.
  2. Wake is the worst pitcher to give a giant lead to because in those situations you just want your pitcher throwing strikes. He really has no control where the knuckleball goes.
  3. They did grab six runs that inning... even tho no lead is safe at Fenway. Lets not also forget Washington came back from 7 down against the Yankees a few days back.
  4. so, rather than get pissed let's just say we saw this coming
  5. well just walk in the tying run why don't you against a guy with 3 BB all season
  6. wonderful, hey tito there's a thing called "foresight"
  7. regardless of the outcome I still hate tavarez and think either timlin should have stayed in or MDC should have come in
  8. That rule should be changed, you should get a blown save only if you put the runners on.
  9. great, now the Tigers have momentum starting their series against the Red Sox
  10. I can't wait to get out of Toronto, at least we'll have the majority of our games with them done after this, we don't see them again til august.
  11. The Red Sox look like a minor league ballclub whenever they play the Blue Jays... why? Why is it the Blue Jays are mediocre against the rest of the league, but we can't beat them. How can we have a winning record against the Yankees but NOT the Blue Jays. This is a paradox.
  12. 8 HR's for Vernon Wells in 10 Games this season... WOW...
  13. ummm, where was foulke and wow Vernon Wells... wow...
  14. Yanks caught being greedy. Bottom 9 6-6
  15. Red Sox score two runs off of Ryan? Pssh, are you joking? The guy is lights out, even if he is a bit overworked.
  16. Ryan does his job as usual... we'll get to him one of these days... now we just hope the Yankees lose.
  17. Back-to-Back 4-out saves, do they ever give Ryan a rest? It seems like he pitches in EVERY game.
  18. Spier just has Manny's number
  19. I'm not assuming anything, but if by some chance we tie the game, I want Papelbon in there for 6 outs, I can't take another gut-wrenching loss.
  20. Were in business in the 8th... HERE'S MANNY
  21. Even though no one scored, it always seems like a struggle with Seanez.
