Okay, so we went on a losing skid at the beginning of the month, and every ******* in Red Sox Nation started to twitch, get a little loose. Maybe some justified panic at the first signs of our notorious bullpen crumbling. But hey, we pulled through, right? And if someone - some wizened baseball sage - had told us all that our Sox would be riding at the top of the AL East, .621, two full games ahead of the MFY, by May 8th...would we take it?
You bet your sweet red ass we would.
Now all we got to do is hold it together, and you know what...to quote two fine British gentlemen, Lennon and McCartney (I don't think they were singing about the Red Sox at the time, but they may have been): "I got a feeling, a feeling deep inside, oh yeah..."
