Didn't he recently stop the side sessions? I remember hearing that the reason he was so dominant was that he constantly kept his arm warm by throwing on the side. But I also heard that he stopped recently. This lef me to believe, by transitivity, that side sessions make him a stronger pitcher. He should continue with those.

I don't realistically see him going to the sox. We have enough free agent trouble for next year as it is, so why take on another burden? As great as it would be to have "the next mickey mantle" on the team right now, I think we have some other concerns. (our outfield really isnt a weakness)

Since I'm the official talksox weather man now (right yankshater? ), heres a weather update: There's a severe weather alert for tomorrow, with the warmest weather since 2002 expected (mid 90's about). Not pleasant for a baseball game I guess. I'd come in with the doppler, but theres no rain, so it makes no difference I guess. Err, they just changed it. Uper 80's for this game, and mid 90's for wednesday. Crazy! Mid 90s! I can't take the heat.
