I said Pedro, but I'm split between him and Varitek - he's the only good free agent catcher on the market. A starting pitcher is much easier to replace than a quality catcher.

I remember the first time (I don't remember the game) thinking that Fenway was huge... Now I'm 6'4", 200lbs. The seats are friggin tiny!

They should move Manny to right, and put McCarty in left. Bellhorn could have a good year, I wouldn't so quickly move to find a substitute for him.

Heh...I can't really say I remember (it was a while ago), but the best (some could say worst) Sox game I went to was Mussina's 1 hitter...9th inning, 2 outs, and Crazy Carl has to go and ruin a perfect game! As much as I hate the Yanks, I think seeing a perfect game would be worth it.

I'm Jeremy, friends of Dave and Dave. I live in Mass, and I'm an avid Sox fan. Not nearly as knowledgable as many of the other sox fans out there, but I try. :-p

As much as Ty Law has contributed to the Pats over the past few years (especially their two Super Bowl seasons), he's shown himself to be like many other professional athletes - greedy and snobby little jerkoffs. And besides that, he can't even keep his story straight. First he says that it's not about the money. Then he says he shouldn't take a $500 thousand dollar cut on a new deal, and should be receiving a contract similar to Champ Bailey's. I don't know about you guys, but I think if I were in that situation I'd be f***ing greatful to be making that kind of money and to be on that kind of team. I say we trade him if he doesn't shut the hell up.

They've actually been rather good recently. If they get 7th place, they'll face the Nets (who without K-Mart and Kidd aren't too good). And now that Twain is gone, no need to worry about watching 3-point shots all day.
