  1. Right, it's absolutely not worth it at all for Schilling to risk injury at a place where he pitches poorly anyway. We'll just have to wait and see how things play out I guess.
  2. Alright, I'll make it and see how it goes.
  3. .....and the winner is: TheFens! Congratulations to TheFens, and thank you to all those who entered. Please check your pm's TF, so we can figure out how we'll get this gift certificate to you. To all who entered (and even those who didn't enter), please check again soon when we will be offering even more contests and prizes. Thanks
  4. The contest is now closed. We will announce the winner shortly, after a drawing has been completed.
  5. Damn, Clemens lost!
  6. There's already a pedro discussion going, with this same exact post by you in it, so I think this should be closed.
  7. Hehe, sucks to be Anaheim. http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,3...2203220,00.html Why its from the Denver post, I dont know.
  8. I'm just pissed that basketball's still running. The playoffs have been going since 1963, its annoying.
  9. Damn nice play right there by Pokey. Thats why we got him I guess.
  10. Pedro's at 95 pitches, he could go another inning easily.
  11. That would be one hell of a way to get it, wouldnt it? I wonder how many people have done it that way.
  12. Pedro has 66 pitches through 4. I don't think he'll be gone in the 6th, but he could certainly be a little bit more economical with his pitches. But whatever, so long as we dont lose, it makes no difference to me.
  13. I dont know why it is, but Pedro always has early game difficulty. I'm glad he's over the hump, and I'm glad the game is now tied. Also, why the bold?
  14. You also need to take into consideration the fan favoriteness (nice word there, right?) of youk. Mueller doesnt have a "mooooool" chant going or anything, but youk has his "yoooooouk." The fans at Fenway love Youkilis, more so than they do Mueller, and although you really can't make a decision based on that alone, it may affect how they each play. Youkilis has said that he feeds off of the energy at the park, and how that youk chant really gets him excited. Mueller wouldn't get that type of reaction. So, why not keep a super-hyped Youkilis in there? Plus he's a prospect, something that the sox are in desperate need of. My signs point to Youkilis right now.
  15. Good idea to merge, whoever did it.
  16. Rest him now I say. Sure the games now count just as much as they do in the future, but I'd rather have a healthy schilling in September who missed two weeks in June than a hurt schilling in September who got to pitch twice in June.
  17. Wow. They're worse than the sox!
  18. WTF. The yankees manage to tie it. We have a perfectly good shot at improving a game, and then the padres just blow it.
  19. Will he hit 500 today? He hit his 499th in the second inning of today's game. He's been on a tear recently.
  20. Too bad there aren't many yankee fans here (yet) to pick a good fight with.
  21. Hopefully we can overcome last night's catastrophe.
  22. We're a Boston team, that's why. No Boston team can ever be at 100%, at least one star players always has to be on the DL.
  23. He's due back in the country this weekend: http://redsox.bostonherald.com/redSox/view...articleid=31710 at the bottom of the page
