True, I'll give you that. He would basically have to have two hot streaks at possibly the two hardest times in the season to have hot streaks (Brian Roberts aside). He has some things going for him and some things going against him. How's that.

This is the year where the D-Rays finally don't finish in last place. Baltimore will roll over and die. Were it not for there insanely hot streak at the beginning of last season they would have finished last then too.

Spanning it over 2 seasons is cheating. Asterisk! But in all seriousness, the day in day out grind of baseball is what makes it so hard to get a streak of 56. An offseason in between kind of cheapens it.

Hopefully he'll bust out. It's always nice to see talent pan out, especially when its not on a direct opponent. As long as Beckett does well, I won't be pissed.
