  1. That "bitch" would javeline that f***ing pansy ass through the heart in a SECOND. He's wearing CHAIN MAIL AND A HELMET. He's INVINCIBLE against that huge ass slashy thing. Try again. Middle ages pours hot oil all over the f***ing mongols.
  2. Here's to our offense showing up as well.
  3. Historical figure mojo!
  4. William the Conquerer pretended to retreat during the Battle of Hastings, allowing Harold's army to come and try salvage equipment from the dead on the battlefield. Then William stormed back on and massacred them all. That's badass if you ask me.
  5. What an odd injury. Get well soon Trot.
  6. http://www.american-pictures.com/genealogy/descent/photos/William.the.conqueror.jpg Sorry, I couldn't resist. Oh, and for those blissfully unaware of this severe badass: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_the_conquerer
  7. Welcome to Talksox Sean. I hear good things about the Northeastern school of comminication, so you may want to check that out.
  8. Interesting to see the projections but its highly likely that something (injury, rain out, whatever) will throw this off.
  9. One time I got Grady Little's autograph on a ticket stub.
  10. Lets go with some ADMIN MOJO WOOHOO! :banned: Game Info: Date: Tuesday August 15th, 2006 First Pitch: 7:05pm EDT Venue: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: NESN http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/425827.jpg vs http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/121811.jpg Jeremy Bonderman (11-5, 3.76) vs Curt Schilling (14-5, 3.89) Game Preview:
  11. DUH, he was on this week's ESPN the magazine cover. THAT'S why he sucked today.
  12. We lost. It wasn't pretty.
  13. PUT IT BACK IN PUT IT BACK IN!
  14. Check for likenesses of Jesus and/or the Virgin Mary first.
  15. Despite how the team is playing we can't have a defeatest attitude towards a game. I think part of the reason Rivera is so nearly unhittable is that people step up to the plate against him with the mindset that they're doomed and powerless against him.
  16. Excellent marketing at work right there. Also excellent beer at work I suppose.
  17. That's what any fan of any team that's faced Ortiz says.
  18. He was right about the fiery aspect. http://graphics.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Globe_Photo/2006/03/27/1143498926_7034.jpg
  19. You guys should run onto the field in your talksox t shirts holding hangs. Nay, skip onto the field.
  20. It may not be a walkover (the sox proved on their last road trip that walkovers don't exist) but the NL is still vastly inferior to the AL right now.
  21. Where's Rich Garces when you need him? :dunno:
  22. I think either way its win/win. Papelbon was our best pitching prospect as a starter, and I have no doubt that he would succeed as one. Hansen will be a beast as a closer. He's only 23 and with work I think he can be as dominating as Papelbon in the closer position. All in all its a good dilemma to have.
