    Plus one world series ring. At this point I'd rather have Hanley. We all knew he was going to be incredible. But you have to factor in the ring.

    My extended family has taken over every single television in the house. I want to watch the game dammit.

    Ridiculous statistic of the day, per ESPN: Manny is only the 7th player with 500 homers, 1,500 RBI, 1,000 walks, 475 doubles, and a .300 batting average. I have a buddy who'll be working in statistical research at ESPN this summer, digging up facts like this one.

    It happened in Baltimore, so probably not. They were using specially marked baseballs so they could find it in the stands though.

    Good to see Manny finally hit that elusive homer. I yelped in the middle of a restaurant. Weekends are usually slow and its also been kinda slow around here lately. Happens in waves, I'm sure it'll pick up soon.

    Recently I've had much more luck than usual getting tickets on Redsox.. I managed to score pavillion tickets last night to the 6/12 game against the Orioles. Maybe I'll finally catch a foul ball, that place seems to be a magnet for them. If you peruse http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/ticketing/singlegame.jsp?c_id=bos around midnight, which is when I think the team releases more tickets online, you should be able to find some, probably even the night before a game.
