    People act like tough guys with the internet as a shield, so political talk on forums almost always gets utterly out of hand and just turns into name calling and baseless statements. From what I've seen, people leaving and being unhappy in the past, on Talksox and on other forums, was not because of the lack of political discussion but because of how it spilled over into everything else and how it led to name calling and insults. I'm not against starting a political thread with VERY DEFINED rules like no name calling and all statements need to be backed by facts with any broken rules resulting in bans of 1-3 days. Any interest in that?

    No, they do liters per 100 km. It's utterly impossible to convert and I just gave up.

    It's still a damn good car. I think it gets 60+ MPG. They're all over European cities and I've seen more and more on the streets in Boston.

    Give him a break guys, he just joined and has no idea about this kind of stuff. I commend him for jumping right in. Scott, around here if the sox win a game we usually want the person who started that game thread to start the next day's thread to keep the winning "mojo" alive. It may be dumb, but it's led to 2 world series win since the creation of Talksox. I say the wins are solely because of this mojo. No need to call anyone a ****.
