  1. Done
  2. Whoever this was, they posted from public access wifi in Manchester Connecticut.
  3. I'm sick of Vanderbilt grads beating Boston teams. Booooo Cutler!
  4. Dude, bang her like a screen door in a hurricane is classic.
  5. I don't even remember typing that. And I'm all for expanded categories if you guys want to sort them out. I like the TWF idea.
  6. "Oh you have poop on your shoes? Don't wipe them off or anything, let's just buy you a new pair of $75 shoes while I make a stupid facial expression!"
  7. And it leads to AWESOME conversations. One time I had a cabbie tell me and my buddies that he had grown big and strong drinking camel's milk. Then we all compared muscles while he was driving. Edit: Someone is bound to make a joke about "muscles" so I'll just beat you to it.
  8. I'm not the one to start them. Here's your answer:
  9. Post of the day!
  10. Trying to wash his sorrows away?
  11. I don't think Pedroia will make an out once next year.
  12. Baseball has been my distraction from how terrible it's been looking for a job. I guess I have to concentrate on that now.
  13. Hahaha. Wow. My girlfriend today asked me if the Sox were playing a playoff game on the same day as the Pats played a regular season game if people would watch the Sox game. I laughed at her thinking that no fan in their right mind, of any team, would pick football over playoff baseball. I guess I was wrong.
  14. TBS tried to become a big time player with this year's playoffs, but they just proved to everyone how second rate they really are. I'm not sure what the case was for you, but for the final two games HD wasn't working and I was stuck with regular definition (once they got the broadcast back up). Stick to Braves games boys.
  15. I'll at least say this: If you are who (what) you say you are, congrats to you. You've stuck it out with the team for a long time.
  16. You can almost guarantee that the WC won't be coming from the East next year. I'm excited to see what Pedroia (who should be the MVP this year) can do next year.
  17. This being the toughest part of the loss. Now what are we gonna do! Edit: And I'm just sitting here comparing the emotions I feel right now to what I felt in 2003, and it's not even close. This was not a catastrophic failure of a team, nor was it a collapse. Like some people have said, this team was lucky to have gotten this far.
  18. Also, Kotsay looked like a badass snapping that bat across his leg. So we've got that going for us... Unfortunately, this Rays team has 1-2 more years left in them before they get utterly dismantled. David Price is actually a better pitcher than he's shown thus far, which is scary. (Ask me about my "The Price is Right" shirt I got at a Vanderbilt game). Maybe the Yankees will be the ones to bear the brunt of that. 2009 will at least be interesting.
  19. Loathe as I am to admit it, Manny would have been nice in the 8th. Still, I don't think the sox even make the ALCS or mount that game 5 comeback with Manny on the team.
  20. I'm pulling for the Phils in the WS. Their fans are passionate at least.
  21. That one feminine guy was chanting "Rayth number one! Rayth number one!". But aside from him, no one else gets it. Their cheerleaders are dancing on the dugout. The only ones who can appreciate the win are the players. And the players do deserve congratulations. It's amazing to see David Price perform on such a high level, but it sure will be a pain banning all of the people who join the site with "cowbell" in their name over the next few days.
  22. I have no confidence. The offense has looked flat all game.
