It's Sunday on the first major of the year. Woods is in unfamiliar territory making a charge in a major on the final day.

 

McIlroy at -11 on the 4th. Woods at -8 with an eagle putt on the 8th. They started at -12 and -5 respectively. Watch out for Charl Schwartzel who started at -8, got to -11 by holing out from the fairway on the 3rd, but made a 3-putt bogey on the 4th.

 

Looks like the back nine will be kind of interesting.

Tiger makes eagle on #8....

McIlroy misses his 3rd putt inside 5 feet in the first 5 holes. Falls back to -10, tied with Woods and Schwartzel.

Tiger now tied for first but has a difficult put for par ....

Tiger just f***ed it up, missed a 3 foot put for par .

Well, in the end, he would have had to shoot a 63 just to make a playoff. I can think of 3 strokes he left out there - the awful lag putt on #4, the 3 footer for par on #12, and the missed short eagle putt on #15, but not 4.

 

What about McIlroy, did that guy blow up or what? That triple on #10 f***ed him up so bad between the ears it wasn't funny. He's a young guy, so some mental lapses should be expected on that stage, but wow, that was ugly to watch. He 3-putted from 5' on #12, and it was all between his ears.

I don't one bit. Didn't like him before his man-whoring came out...he came across as a f***ing tool bag.

 

Lots of good golfer's out there and now with Rory being awsome as s*** in the US Open...hope it continues. Really like him.
