Agreed but 27 plus strikeout rate cannot be in the lead off spot. He’s trending toward a late middle of the order spot at best. Story is Story. Can’t hit the slider and having trouble catching up to good fastballs. That doesn’t get fixed this late in the season.

Anthony is 2-25 with 11 k. Sorry is 6-22 with 7 k. Between them in the last 6 games they are hitting .170 with a 39% strikeout rate.

I think this is the 6th of 7 games the Sox have lost with Sandoval starting.

Problem is the Yankees are the best team in the AL with the best starting pitching and with this offense even with Wilson and Cedanne back is going to be a huge lift
