Sox trade Mayer to Giants for Erik Miller

Probably a lot lower than what we thought Mayer was going to go for a year ago, but Miller is an absolute unit. Similar build to Tolle. Breslow pushing the chips in to go for it right now. -
I am super annoyed about the package, but it doesn't matter if you win the AL.

Only thing I'm REALLY upset about is giving up both Eyanson and Witherspoon. Was hoping to keep 1 of them. However, some damn fire power if Adley is healthy.

Thanks! Been lurking for a while, figured I might as well step in the ring. Today seemed as good a day as any. Top 2 RHP prospects (both of whom I'm very high on) for a guy who is on the IL and also having a down year? If this was Adley and an arm, or Adley and Holliday, sure. But 4 of your top 20 prospects, and NarvDog to an inter-division team? For just Adley? That's a jagged pill, personally.

But 3 top 5 prospects, in a good farm system, for a player currently on IL that is having a down year and needs to be extended? Not sure I love that logic.
