Chad Tracy was promoted as intern manager following the firing of Alex Cora. Since he has taken over, the team has responded by playing .500 ball to this point. Red Sox prospect Juan Valera had Tommy John surgery. This is a huge blow not only to the Red Sox organization but for Valera himself, as he isn't expected to return until late 2027 or 2028. Valera has been dominant in High-A ball this year; however, at only 19 years old, he should recover and have a solid career afterward. View full video -

Dylan Brown entered 2026 as a Red Sox top 60 prospect. After only five starts in Single-A ball, he has already been promoted to High-A Greenville due to a 2.31 ERA and 32 strikeouts in only 23 innings. Brown is a big lefty that draws comparisons to Payton Tolle, and enters Greenville with improved velocity, but questions still surround his command. View full video
