Brooks Brannon is a rising first base prospect within the Red Sox organization. Brannon currently plays for the Portland Sea Dogs, and is known for his exceptional raw power; he is slashing an impressive .286/.398/.622 with an impressive 1.020 OPS and 8 home runs. The past three seasons, Jarren Duran's offense has been well above average. The start of this season has been a whole different story; however, since mid-May, he has turned things around. Mickey Gasper was recently recalled from the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox. Claimed by Boston in early February, Gasper has been hot in the minors this season; he has flashed better contact with his bat, along with some raw power. Gasper has only played a handful of games with the Red Sox and has been a spark to their recent offensive production. View full video

Chad Tracy was promoted as intern manager following the firing of Alex Cora. Since he has taken over, the team has responded by playing .500 ball to this point. Red Sox prospect Juan Valera had Tommy John surgery. This is a huge blow not only to the Red Sox organization but for Valera himself, as he isn't expected to return until late 2027 or 2028. Valera has been dominant in High-A ball this year; however, at only 19 years old, he should recover and have a solid career afterward. View full video -

After only five starts in Single-A ball, he has already been promoted to High-A Greenville due to a 2.31 ERA and 32 strikeouts in only 23 innings. Brown is a big lefty that draws comparisons to Payton Tolle, and enters Greenville with improved velocity, but questions still surround his command. View full video
