Any Deal involving a game changing reliever or starter will be headlined by Casas.I love this kid he's got everything you look for but we are the Boston Redsox and time is not on Casas side this year.To have a realistic opportunity to win the World Series we need to go all in and sadly all in means Casas he's the prize .

15 blown saves says it all .Dave failed to get Craig or a proven Closer and it all is unraveling.No one is shocked by this though we are more shocked when we hold on to a save at this point .To compete seriously for a championship the Redsox must have a proven Closer maybe another bat .

Either go all in get the pieces or sell and build for 2020 and beyond .Matty B and Brasier are great people but neither are consistent .I agree we need a starter a closer but think we need a bat also .I think if you go duck tape route we won't make the playoffs if we go all in and empty the farm ? Why ? I mean you absolutely fit that bat in at Fenway .I would start Hunter Renfroe over Benny at Home 75 percent and Benny plays bigger Ball parks on the Road for his Glove .Renfroe will be a cheap plus power bat with a clutch Gene in him .teamates love Renfroe .
