    Can I make the argument that with Puig we may have been a better team ? I don’t know JBJ is an incredibly Gifted player but I think for the 20 season beyond I like the acquisition of Puig.JBJ can be retained now and Puig can replace Betts .puig is not Mookie but he’s pretty damn good replacement.I don’t need validation it’s just a gut thing with me on fit ...Cora is the factor .

Bullpen backend is Evo in 8th and Workman 9th along with a promotion or FA reliever for middle .I think the whole under the cap is BS .How many millions have been lost on concessions alone with no playoffs ? How many jerseys won’t be sold this winter Tee shirts hats ??? Millions and millions of revenue flushed .Now is not the time to go small .I would offer Mookie at most 280 million and would trade him before he walked out the building if he refused it .Too bad so sad bye Bye boooooo hoooo Mookie !! Because our manager and GM and Pitching coach decided it was more important to work on ping pong and golf rather than a true spring Training ...they wasted a fantastic year of Vaz ,Devers ,Xander ,Betts and yes JD had a damn good year .Erod was the enomally.Cora is an idiot who screwed the team in 19 .I would give the man until June and if this team comes out flat I’m pulling the cord .
