    The number one line had no answers. None. The effort was there but they just couldn’t shake the Blues off. Cassidy needs to take some heat for that too.

    Sighhhh.... don’t even get me started on the game last night man. Gunna be a sore subject until the puck drops next season. Marchand has me irate.. I know all these guys are only human but this was game seven. Rask could have been a bit better too. No spectacular saves... not one. Chara... the 42 year old man with a broken jaw played better or as good as anyone.. he even saved Rask’s ass once. Ughhhh...

    Can't expect that from every outing but Price has pitched well. The offense needs to stop being "OFFENSIVE" (like the Bruins offense was last night) and should stick to listening to their hitting coaches and focusing on batting practice. how about putting up an eight spot sometime.

    I’d talk about game seven but what’s the point. Not scoring in the first period when you dominate the period is a hard pill to swallow. Tough night.

    Thanks. Yeah. Good season but we came up one game short. Have to give credit to the Blues. Good goaltending. They also made the most of their chances and in the end, that is what counts. You either execute when you have the chance to or you do not. On to 2020 we go, Go Bruins Go!

    Not quite. The Bruins absolutely dominated the first period and ended up down 2-0. The Blues had two opportunities and scored on both of them.. including a deflection.

    Devastating loss.. this one hurts. We came up one game short. The Blues were opportunistic and made the most of their chances. Rask could have played a bit better I though.. Chara actually saved his ass by sticking away a sure goal. Ughhhh... It sucks getting so damn close.

    I know that it's the bottom of the 1st and the score is 2-0 Rangers but I am already thinking... "Are the Red Sox capable of coming back" 9 innings of ball left and I am wondering if we can score three or four today. That's where I am with this team. No life. I hate sounding like a morose type here but this last week has been abysmal. Thank God for Hockey.

    The Blues will look for soft rebounds if Rask gives them up. They are a good example of a Goon team. Rebound goals around the net with a dump n chase mentality. The key to beating the Blues? Be ready and organized to counter their forechecking. As far as the zebras? The zebras are another story.

    No question. I cant ignore how much better the second line looked in game 6. I'd roll with the game 6 lineup. I feel like Backes would be a better fit for an early-in-the series game, as you try to grind them down for those late series games. But now that we're here in game 7, I feel like its time to beat them with speed. Especially with the top 3 lines. I expect the fourth line to continue playing physical. So its not like we wont still have a physical presence if we don't go with Backes. The Only change I would make is Grzelcyk at this point. If healthy.. the guy has to be on the ice.
