I'm finally getting a break from school and shipping up to Boston from Louisiana to see my first Sox game in Fenway on September 8th vs. the Astros. Are there any tips you would recommend to someone for their first time visiting? Bars, restaurants nearby that can't be missed before or after the game. Any tours or parts of Fenway that I must visit on game day? Any sections I should avoid when choosing tickets? I've read about a non-scalping section outside Fenway before games, but since this is a big game being an ALDS rematch do you think there will be still be tickets available for sale outside the stadium on game day? I'll be sure to have a cold brew and a Fenway frank in my hands before first pitch. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
