I just don't think he's been given enough consistent playing time during his career. The crux of the problem is his defense was well behind Vazquez when he was first called up and we didn't have any holes in the outfield for him to fill. There's a reason he was widely considered the top catching prospect in baseball a few years ago. It makes me wonder how Flores would have developed. That story still kills me.
