  1. I'm guessing JH will lower ticket prices at Fenway because of this dumpster fire of a team. sarcasm
  2. It's still very early in the season. The reason I know this is because the SOX are only one game under .500.
  3. I seriously doubt one could find a more preferable team to debut against.
  4. Sale (1-0) vs Bradley(0-0) At least Bradley is a RH, so SOX chance of winning has improved.
  5. If the SOX finishing last again gets both Bloom and Cora fired, it might be worth it. Unfortunately, the owner can't be fired.
  6. On a positive note I'm positive this current SOX team is worse than last year's. On another positive note Bra Man had an impressive 9th inning.
  7. He led the NL in homers 2 season ago and he was injured(wrist) most of last season. You should check things out before making inaccurate posts.
  8. In the recent history of the SOX they've either made the PO's or finished last. Want to guess which outcome will happen this season?
  9. Another weak hitting RH batter probably won't be noticed and improving the middle defense would be a good thing. However, now that JH is running the franchise as a small market team, I doubt Bloom will spend 11 mil on that guy.
  10. I don't know and I'm too lazy to check, but for the SOX sake, hopefully, there aren't many. Duvall was the RH balance.
  11. "Playoffs, you're talking about playoffs?"
  12. The more LH starters the SOX face the further away from the PO's they will end up. The RH batters on this current team are a sorry lot.
  13. Just trying to be a little positive. Not easy.
  14. This will work only if the SOX score early before the opposing manager brings in a LH reliever.
  15. Against RH pitching I'd have this line-up: Dugo Devers Masa Casas McGuire ? ? ? ?
  16. I'll say it for you. This is a weak SOX line-up, and saying Duvall wouldn't have made a difference in a one run game comes under the heading of Cora talk.
  17. He's got 10 million reasons to be in the line-up, but I can't think of one good one.
  18. The Dodgers knew what they were doing not re-signing Turner. Plus the fact that he's 38, which is a little over 32.
  19. With this SOX line-up they could throw their jocks on the field and beat the SOX.
  20. The game was only a little over 2 hours. Better to lose in 2 hours than 3 hours.
  21. By this time next month 5 games behind will look good.
  22. Turner was signed for name recognition. His best days are behind him.
