  1. I thought Conehead worked for the YES network. No?
  2. Shut down inning would be nice. Sale pitching every game would be great.
  3. Price has a chance at redemption.
  4. 3rd time thru line up was one too many for Keller.
  5. Right now I would give JD a slight edge over Betts for MVP.
  6. I can't prove this, but I'm willing to bet that Betts leads the league in plate appearances with nobody on base.
  7. Price is terrible against the Yankems and terrible in the playoffs, but other than that.
  8. #3 pitchers don't get a salary of 217 million.
  9. I'll bet DD would love a do over.
  10. Note to John Henry: The 150 million you overpaid Price you could have given to the Jimmy Fund and gotten a charity tax break.
  11. Btw, tonight's game has a 7:15 EST start.
  12. I don't know, but no matter what he's doing in the booth, he sucks at all of them. When one combines Singleton's ineptness with Paul O'Neil's squeaky voice, the mute button is a necessity.
  13. Unfortunately, the Yankems are beating the Jays 7-3 after 4. Ken Singleton(simpleton) is providing the play-by-play, which he does when Mary Kay doesn't feel like doing a particular road series. Singleton is the Capt. Obvious of sports announcers. He may be the worst in the league. He presents himself behind the mike as a complete idiot. There, now I feel better.
  14. Here's a moving Williams story. Years ago Ted went to a Boston hospital to visit children dying of cancer. One of the children Ted visited grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go. Ted asked the nurse if she had a cot he could use and he spent the night at the hospital holding the child's hand. Ted was upset when this episode went public because he never wanted these trips to the hospital to ever be made public. He was a very complicated human being, but he loved children, and, as we all know, he hated most sports writers.
  15. True, but the exit velocity of POM's pitches approach 110mph.
  16. Yankem fans don't have feelings; they possess reptile brains.
  17. I have complete confidence that DD will get the SOX another BP arm, especially now that I'm taking Keytruda.
  18. That gorilla suit has already been taken.
  19. Patient: "Hey, Doc, I see one of the side effects of this new drug you're pushing is death. Is it alright for me?" Doctor:" I won't know that until you start taking them. If you're dead for more than 5 minutes, call me."
  20. Maybe KC should go back to being the Yankems' farm system.
  21. I think Sonny Gray wants to go back to Oakland where he had miles and miles of foul territory.
