But I guess the O's have to have someone to build their staff around.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm surprised Cobb's name was mentioned more often before trade deadline.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Nice bunt by our catcher.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
This would be a good time for Brasier to ask for a raise.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Bra man saves Boston's bacon again.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
This isn't the '27 Yankems you're pitching to.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Tough bringing in a reliever with bases loaded. Cora's strong point as a manager is the players like him.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Cora is quick taking out a pitcher, who didn't need to be taken out. Cora is slow taking out pitchers, who should be taken out.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
BP is this team's weakness. No question.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Good hustle by Holt. Another E for the O's.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
There's only two players I would want from the O's; Cobb and that kid Mullen.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Pearce Arrow!
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Betts is fast, but he's not that fast. But your point is spot on.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I wasn't here for that poll, but I would have predicted 113. LOL.

Btw, the game was almost 4 hours long w/o a rain delay. Of course, our BP could be described as a rain delay.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Actually, as I posted earlier, going into today's games, the O's had the highest team BA in the league since the ASG. They were 6 and 6. No question, this SOX team has been amazing.

Lately, Kimbrel is making DD's decision for next year easier.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
But he's probably looking up 'dotard.'
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    You're right.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Why even post s*** like that unless you're a dotard?
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Manny & Ortiz; Betts & JD. Lynn & Rice. In one particular season, these would be my top 3 combos for the SOX.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, the SOX do have Monday off.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    +100
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
But you see, the SOX already have a good chance of winning this one. Why not win this one and tomorrow will take care of itself.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
So true. Blind umps is where it's at.
