    He's actually dug himself out before only to fall flat on his face in the postseason. I just don't trust him as a hitter overall in key spots or in the playoffs no matter what side of a streak he's on.

    Benny is a good enough athlete in CF. Swihart/Holt would be an upgrade as a hitter over Bradley. You can't just make it in the bigs with just your glove.

    Something has to be done. The fact that he's still getting as many starts as he's getting is very puzzling to me. Before, he'd be in a hole and people would be like trade him, then he'd dig himself out and people would be like, don't trade him, he's one of the best cf's in the game. Well, now he's not digging himself out of it. I'd rather have Benny in CF who is decent enough and then put maybe Swihart in LF. The fact that the RS keep trotting Bradley out there should be offensive to RS fans.

    Yeah me too. Well, I believe we're another bat away from fielding a truly lethal lineup even with Mookie coming back. I hope we can maybe swing a deal for Miggy. He's 35 but can still hit. Put him at #5 behind JD and we're in business.

    We got nothing to give up in the minors? Groomes out. Chavis is suspended. We got nothing else down there that any team would want.

    We got 2 utility guys (Nunez and Holt), 1 kid who's learning the MLB ropes (Devers batting 5th? lol), and a defensive replacement player (Bradley). We shouldn't be surprised.

    I don't get it either. We're going to have to bite the bullet with Devers this year as this is kind of his learning year so to bat him 5th, c'mon. I actually miss the 2004 Red Sox mindset. Sacrifice defense a little and go out with a total 1-9 lineup. If I remember correctly Mueller was batting 7th and he was the batting champion the year before. Right now there's too many streaky hitters, too many holes. It's tough to watch at times. We need to go all out for Harper next year and possibly replace Pedey at 2nd if he isn't healthy. Right now we got like 3 non starters in our lineup. I'm tossing in Holt, Nunez and Bradley in that group.
