or you could go to norway where theirs a free market with a conscience.the country owns all the oil found there and use it to help their people.a few years back they had a one million dollar per resident surplus in their ecomony. -
so with the hosmer deal looming and still not done i think boarsass definately isnt budging.probably time for a very loud "we're out" on martinez.at three years 54mill he's a risk,at 100-150 mill he's death to us.let his agent pay him if he thinks hes worth it.this will be worse than the crawford deal at those numbers. if we sign that deal we will be unable to patch holes if the need arises.he's not worth the hanley deal we hate so why discuss close to twice that as some sort of deal.in a few short years we will be in detroits mess.....then the best we can do is sign third rate bums other teams cut like jd martinez...hahaha forget this bum

this isnt a deal for someone like harper.you have to backload his deal or he will scoop up all your money and run to another team and get more.

machado is a game changer, a leader.non of our young talent is that or have shown their going to be.Devers might still be that but we dont know yet.he's young like most of our guys and will spark them to play at a higher level than we've seen so far.in 13 we had napoli,victorino and gomes change things that way.before that varitek was the glove in the face guy.we need that grit to a part of the sox again and machado brings that.in a couple of years this team will be in the same wasteland that detroit is today,championships are the only thing that might change that.i think machado brings us championships

i could'nt agree more with you on this and why trade a young player who's better than him to make room for him.everything about this guy says pass to me. if we're going to sign someone for hundreds of millions they have to be a real difference maker in all aspects.JD is not that guy
