  1. Guys, please, as a Yankees fan, I beg the Sox to stop keeping us in the playoff race! I know what the Sox are up to, that is, giving Yankee fans a ray of hope, and then coming down to New York to mercilessly sweep us again as you swept us in Boston? HAS BOSTON NO PITY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Yankee fan here who is still hurting badly from the brilliant but merciless slaughter in Fenway. Come on, Boston fans, get some confidence. Your guys simply toyed with the Yankees, single handedly knocked them out of the playoffs, and will exact further enjoyment in Yankee Stadium when they brutally sweep New York yet again later in the month. Boston power was simply too much for our team. There are many Yankee fans who respect gifted teams when they see them, especially when they use the Yankees as doormats all season. Granted, we will not be in the majority, but there will be a good number of Yankee fans rooting for the Red Sox in the playoffs, and I will certainly be one of them. Great job, Boston, your guys beat the literal stuffing out of ours. Here is to the 2016 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox.
  3. As a beaten and demoralized New York resident and New York teams fan, I commend Boston and the State of Massachusetts for its continued mastery over us with respect to professional sports. I also include the Buffalo teams in this equation, so consider the following. In last year's football season, New York teams were 1-4 against the Patriots. In last year's basketball season. 3-5, and in last year's hockey season, 3-6. Currently, in the baseball season, 5-11, and I predict the Sox will administer further pain and humiliation for a three game sweep in Yankee Stadium later this month. So in this calendar sports year, New York is an abysmal 12-26 against Boston teams. When adding up all the scores in these 38 games, Boston has outscored New York by 66 goals-points-runs. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, BOSTON OWNS NEW YORK. WE ARE NO LONGER A CHALLENGE FOR YOU GUYS, AND CAN ONLY PLEAD FOR MERCY IN THE REMAINING BASEBALL GAMES, AND HOPE THAT THE PATRIOTS, CELTICS AND BRUINS WILL SHOW SOME COMPASSION IN THE FALL AND WINTER SEASONS. TO SHOW YOU HOW BAD IT IS? PATRONS IN A NEW YORK BAR WEARING YANKEE CAPS WERE SHOUTING "LET'S GO, RED SOX"! AS BOSTON BRILLIANTLY (BUT CRUELLY) TOOK AWAY YET ANOTHER LEAD FROM US FOR THE FOUR GAME SLAUGHTER. MAY ALL THE BOSTON TEAMS GO ALL THE WAY THIS YEAR. YOUR CITY, FANS AND TEAMS DESERVE IT. AND MAY BEANTOWN CONTINUE TO TEACH GOOD AND HARD LESSONS TO NEW YORK UNTIL OUR MANAGERS AND OWNERS CAN GET THINGS TOGETHER. WE SUCK. NEW YORK IS BOSTON'S DOORMAT.......NO, TOILET SEAT......WHEN IT COMES TO SPORTS RIVALRY. AND THE PAIN AND HUMILIATION FOR US WILL CONTINUE.....................PLEASE, BOSTON, GO PICK ON A CITY THAT CAN BETTER CHALLENGE YOU.
  4. You did it to us again, my friend. Looks like I will be cheering on the Sox when the season is over. (Sorry, not before).
  5. Yankee fan here, though my best buddy is a Sox fan. No doubt about it, Bay Staters, ALL your teams have been ripping our New York teams to absolute shreds. (That includes Buffalo and Long Island as well as New York City). I predict a well deserved four game slaughter for the Sox. This may sound unconventional, even downright weird, but I am more of a sports fan than anything else, and I appreciate cities and states that take their teams seriously, and produce winning franchises. Boston is number one in that department. And your teams will continue to crush the New York teams simply because we are not as serious or as sports savvy down here. Though it IS painful to watch Boston teams more often than not humiliate New York teams, in the playoffs, if New York is not there, I always root for Boston. The very best of luck to the Red Sox, an absolutely great team. Here is to winning the Series.
  6. Hey, everyone. I am a die hard Yankee fan, but my best buddy is an equally die hard Sox fan, so I often tune in to this site as simply a loyal baseball fan who appreciates the rivalry between the two teams. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SOX FOR A HARD FOUGHT AND WELL DESERVED COME FROM BEHIND WIN ON SEPTEMBER 15. As in basketball, football and hockey, the Boston teams have in recent years enjoyed feasting on my New York teams. You are a great sports city, far more so than New York, I am sorry to say. I predict a four game sweep for the now motivated Sox in Fenway, as they would love to single handedly crush the Yankees' hopes for a playoff spot. And they certainly deserve it. This one hurt, but I must give credit where it is due. Once again, a Boston team does a number on a New York team. (And this includes Buffalo as well as New York City). When the Sox make the playoffs, I will be rooting for them. All the best.
