  1. I'm still finding it amazing how momentum and emotion have nothing to do with baseball and how a player can't 'turn it up". Wanna tell Hanley that right now??
  2. Baseball has always been a game of what have you done for me LATELY. LOL
  3. they're at DP depth. THey'll give up the run for a double play!!
  4. Hanley's probably not the guy they want to face in this situation.
  5. Has anyone questioned that???
  6. Did you just cover your ass in case Price gives up a BB then a HR?
  7. I never said Price should be replaced. All I'm saying is that someone should be up in case a couple of guys get on base. Sheesh. We've got too many eggs in this basket to not be "covering all the bases". (See what I did there? LOL)
  8. OKI Mr. Smarty-pants, do YOU know why he doesn't have someone (at least) up since Price should be far beyond his expected pitch count by now???
  9. Gotta get someone up John. Don't let this get away because you weren't prepared.
  10. And Hanley is getting smarter by NOT trying to stretch that into a double
  11. Ok. "Never" was a poor choice of words, but 9 years ago I was playing SS too. :-(
  12. Who's this guy pitching, anyway?? He looks like David Price but Price has never pitched like this in the playoffs.
  13. Price has already struck this guy out once. What's up with this umpire, anyway??
  14. Blame that on the umpire. JBJ couldn't NOT swing at that pitch. f*** you, mr. ump
  15. That one surprised me. When it left the bat I thought it was going to be a routine out to short center field
  16. I think I've read this book before :-(
  17. Why would we start our #2 catcher in this game??
  18. FWIW, Fister is sporting Schilling's number 38.
  19. Ugh. I hate this post. Not because it's not true, but because I think I've read it before. Insert Pablo Sandoval and it's the same thing. :-((
  20. Not at all. It's aggressive baserunning when a defensive player has to make an outstanding play to get you out - and that happens sometimes. These guys are Major Leaguers after all. It's a boneheaded play when you can be gotten out by a defensive player making an average play.
