  1. Sounds a lot like Ben's "5 year plan."
  2. Any idea, who for?
  3. This would be a fireable offense, in my book, if true.
  4. And we thought posters here were wild and wacky.
  5. Next time, I guess I'll have to walk you through it step by step. It fits into the projection narrative. So much for others doing the "name-calling."
  6. I'm glad you realized that about yourself.
  7. A .961 OPS Against the third time through does not mean he can never get through it. Nobody has said he never can, but it has and still is a major concern. Today was a good sign.
  8. The holy one babbles.
  9. Showing again, you know squat. It's all one way with you.
  10. Here is one example: You say, "Bloom could have done better than Dugo, Wong and Downs" for Betts & half-Price. I brought up the fact that the only other reported offer was from the Padres and nobody else wanted Price. That is not defending Bloom in any sense. It's providing context to the choices he had, at the time. You then claimed "everyone" graded the trade as an "F," and I found multiple sources that did not. You never retracted your statement. Again, I could care less about what they graded the trade, and it wasn't "defending" Bloom. It was giving facts that you were getting wrong. You then internalize that I am a "Bloom supporter." It does not matter that I tell you I am not. You know me better than I do, and then cry when someone assumes something like you hate Cora and shortly afterwards apologizes for it.
  11. So, was it about Bloom or the league being watered down? I don't expect a straight answer.
  12. This is precious. "He always...." "Nobody else sees..." Classic. I see you misrepresent my positions over and over and then think it is a gift? priceless.
  13. Yes, you missed it again. It's not defending him, when you add context or point out others are more to blame or might be. You see it as being a "supporter," and you are wrong- again. It doesn't matter how many times I tell you my position. You just want to believe it is something else. Saying he had a slashed budget in 2020 and 2021 is not defending him. He still made too many blunders. It wasn't the only reason we sucked in 2020.
  14. I know it as much as he "knows" I'm a Bloom supporter" and "won't get over" his firing. (You won't ever talk about that.) IMO, Red care more about being right that the Sox winning. He keeps taking "eye test" even after admitting he no longer watches the games. You have his back. Good for you!
  15. He got two guys out the 3rd time through. That is astep in the right direction. 88 pitches might be on the high end. I'd hate to see him get hurt, but I would like to see, if he can get over this hurdle. (not that one game would prove anything.)
  16. So, Red is not giddy?
  17. So, I was right, all along, despite my apologies for jumping to what turned out to be thr right conclusion.
  18. Houston was Tampa Central, for a short while. We drew the short stick.
  19. Projecting? LOL. BTW, can you try to post one thing about the Sox and not posters, today?
  20. You keep confusing my pointing out where you misplace your criticism on Bloom as support, no matter how many times I tell you my position.
  21. I remember thinking similarly, when we brought in Dan D from Montreal. Niether worked out too well, but both built up a semi-solid foundation.
  22. Happier than if we made the playoffs, it seems.
  23. Again, you totally misunderstand my position and beliefs. I am not upset Bloom was fired, at all. IMO, Bloom did a lot of what he was told to do, and seems to have been successful at some of the important things he was tasked to do, and before you get your panties in a bunch, yes, the farm build up is totally speculative, except for those who have already contributed at the ML level. For one who often uses quotes from the Sox brass, you sure ignored what they had to say about the good things Bloom did, but of course that is something they say about everybody they fire. Yes, JH had enough. Brilliant deduction, Watson! "Won't get over it?" LMAO.
  24. Drive the bandwagon in the parade. I knew you'd enjoy this.
  25. Yes, I can't believe I ept hearing posters saying
