Nowadays, we have nobody on base because the guys that get on base(Moreland,OBJ) are either hitting 9th in the lineup or are not in the lineup

What do you mean when you say Nowadays with less guys on base?Thats why you put guys in the beginnng. Of the order that can get on and steal bases......and your Morelands and JD maybe Devers can hit them in

But I dont think JD is a number 2 batter......I disagree with anyone who likes him batting 2nd

Thats why Im putting a focus on whos hitting right now......I would give OBJ a shot at leading off.....Hes getting on base, hes fast...cansteal bases

I think OBJ has earned a chance to bat leadoff....Benintendi can hit lower in the order in my opinion

Speed and contact is what we need in the leadoff/number 2 spot....Thats what I believe has worked for years...What theyre doing right now is not working...Also, I think Moreland should be in that lineup batting as much as possible(Like every game if possible).....I dont think this team can afford to leave his bat out of the lineup.....If I were the coach I would seriously consider putting OBJ leadoff spot.....A guy that is getting on base with speed.....I would bat Peraza/Verdugo/Maybe Devers 2nd......Moreland 3 spot.....JD cleanup.....I stand firm with this lol

Of course, the lineup could have been constructed any which way they wanted yesterday and they still would have won but I thimk they need to better construct the lineup to compete with better teams and pitchers in the future

Whos idea was it to bat JD Martinez 2nd? Im sorry but I think Moreland is the best #3 hitter...JD Martinez should be hitting cleanup....Most other spots in the lineup are negotiable after that I believe

Correction:The team got a couple runs at the end to make it a closer game, but I think Swihart needs to be rewarded for how well he has been hitting so far

I hope Cora is just giving Swihart a rest today....Swihart seemed to be one of the only guys that could hit the ball yesterday and is hitting .500 so far(I understand its early)...If I were Cora I'd give Swihart as much play time as possible and move him up higher in the lineup until some of the other guys start hitting the ball...I was extremely shocked to see Swihart not in the lineup today

Ok so, I know nobody will probably agree with me but hasn't Devers' defense been kinda iffy to a point to consider looking for another 3rd baseman?I think if there was any chance on trading Devers and getting Beltre back I might do it....I know Beltre is aging but I think he can play defense...and still has a bat....And hit well in Boston...Nunez ain't bad but I think Beltre has always been a very solid all around player

What do you like so much about Cora? What has he done to make a significant contribution to the teams success? IMO he had one of the best rosters in baseball last year....

I have to disagree with your statement about Ricky Henderson...Henderson was a leadoff hitter because he got on base AND stole bases...Its all about getting guys into scoring position so that the next guy can hit you in...Unless you hit a homerun of course

I'm not sure I agree that lead off is "All" about OBP...I think its a combination of OBP and stolen bases to put him in scoring position....I'm not saying Benintendi can't steal bases but I think Betts is best at it....
