  1. Well, Florida is one of the places that even Texas can make fun of. So I hear that. I'm kind of wondering if the only reason that I can't make fun of upper NY is that they just aren't nutz enough to be recognized as crazy as Florida and Texas. I mean I'm from Maine, and upper Maine isn't exactly rocket science country. Funny enough, I just, as within a week ago, visited Roswell. And Roswell and the only difference in any city in upper Maine is that they never have the claim to fame that they had an actual alien landing.
  2. When I think about it. Why the heck didn't he have surgery about 2 years ago and just be good to go now.
  3. Is he even going to start a game all season? I doubt it.
  4. Houston is one of the most amazing cities in the USA. I never knew it till I lived near it. But it's probably more eclectic and interesting and diverse than all but a handful of cities in the USA. Except where splinter lives. As obviously intergalactic aliens have rooted there and made it their home.
  5. Looks like you never lost a beat in the harassment of Texas over the years. Look man, I just work here. And happen to live here. The music thing is good here, just not since the plague cause we are called the world's LIVE MUSIC capitol of the world and nothin's been live for more than a year.
  6. Just blurting this out. I have no idea about Dalbec and if he's a winner or not. But I can't think of another player with more just plain ugly strikeouts than him. He just seems baffled at times. If he hits a dinger enough I can forgive it. But dang does Dalbec look like a fish out of water a lot of the time.
  7. I was on this board more a few years ago. Your dislike of Texas is remembered by me. And I live in Austin. Can't say I'd argue with you. Especially disliking the Houston team. At least the Rangers a Ranger fans are harmless.
  8. What's with playing against Houston? But I do have to say this year it seems to me we rarely just get thrashed liked this. It seems rare and far between that it feels like the game is over early for this team. This was a stinker.
  9. That was awesome. Great to see these struggling guys get key winning hits.
  10. He's good in the field. Bad day. He just can't hit so far.
  11. I think I'd pick Devers if it was my first pick to start a team out of them all. So I'm going with Devers. But I'd consider Perez closely. JD gets paid a lot to be a DH. Bogey is tough though also. To tough a question to answer right now.
  12. Just take one more from these jackasses in this series and all will be good.
  13. Is Barnes using the coca-cola and pinetar mix for the spin rate thing this year? He never sunk so many balls in the dirt for swing and misses like this before
  14. I figured. He's pretty much "must watch TV" how good and effective he is now.
  15. I really like watching him play. I hope he figures out the hitting thing. If he does he could become the brockstar.
  16. Sawamura reminds me of J Belushi in the Samaria Sushi chef skits. Kind of out of shape
  17. We are not a championship caliber team. We could be there sooner than expected though.
  18. I have to admit. I was only half invested in watching through parts of the game cause I'm blacked out as the game is in Texas and some super special money mongaloid thinks blocking me out is going to make me drive three hours and pay 200 bucks is better for the game than me watching the game on MLB tv . So I share the blame.
  19. I blame you for the loss then.
  20. Keep believing in the 9 win streak from a team in transition with no ace or star. Just don't cry out when the team isn't in first.
  21. Am I lost or something. But aren't you the one non stop complaining about E-Rod?
  22. It was a down year or didn't that sink though you brain?
  23. That's the thing with this team. We don't have an ace. There is no shutdown 30 mil pitcher right now. But, we are below salary cap, we can get one soon. Eddie is and only has been a number 3. That was what his projection was, and that is at best what he is. Add to the fact that covid and missing a season and so on....... he was never an ace, no one should think he is an ace, and we would be lucky for him to pitch an ace year. What's real lucky or smart is the rest of the pitching squad, we have had gems by a lot of these misfits. Way better than expected.
