How dumb can one person be? Did Victorino start the season with the team? You must be American with your lack of knowledge about the team. Everybody knows Pedroia is leading off cause Farrell has no other choice. ideally Pedroia is a number 2 hitter. How many times has Pedroia hit lead off in his career? Jesus!!!

Who have his legit lead off possibilities been? a guy who was out of baseball the last two years( Sizmore) a guy who is in the minors right now( Nava)? A 2nd year guy( JBJ)? So who have his possibilities been? Talk about being a moron. Go back to watching the Yankees

Last year he had a legit lead off hitter and legit 2-3-4-5 hitters. Helen Keller could have fielded a winning line up. Last Sunday in Toronto with Ortiz resting (for some reason) late in the game down 1 with runners at 2nd and 3rd he lets Carp hit. There is a reason why Carp has been the 24th man on the 25 man roster his whole career and its not for his clutch hitting ability. Why not Ortiz hit? Monday was a scheduled day off to begin with?

Only because he was facing a garbage blue jays team and the fact the Sox gave him 7 runs to work with. How did Clay do his other 2 starts?

At times yes but for the majority of the time not so much. I With the Team they had it was easy for a manager to do his job. When you have a natural lead off hitter, number 2 hitter and number 3-4-5 hitters its not brain surgery.

Its notthe point its the fact that Farrell's stupidity did not get exposed last year as it will this year

Between giving Ortiz a day off before a scheduled off day and having Carp hit 4th Farrell always seems to find more creative ways to blow games for the Sox. Can't forget bout letting Clay go out there every 5th day to get knock around and toss 110 pitches in 3 plus innings.
