    i dont see any reason why we shouldnt swing on the first pitch fast ball. its been regular, its down the plate and we're only getting struck out anyway later on. arguably its the best pitch any of the batters will get and the only reason we aren't swinging is we're buying into the pitching hype. unless we are trying to take as many pitches off Verlander as possible. IF we keep up the current pitch count in each inning he'll be burnt by the 4th
