  1. bench middlebrooks? STOP IT
  2. break it up!
  3. Iggy back by mid may? SURE!
  4. keep nava, keep iggy, designate carp. seeya tomaa
  5. LET EM PLAY!!!
  6. JBJr. and Iggy had great days today!!!! LET EM PLAY!!!!!
  7. ^ he just isn't home grown like the rest of my list... but if he performs IDGAF! Let him play!
  8. Ells- CF, JBJr. - RF, Xander - LF, WMB- 3b, Iggy - SS, Pedey - 2b. Add a power hitting 1b/DH, maybe a D minded catcher, and thats a great line up. Lets start rooting for the team of the future and see what these guys can do! Xman needs more time for sure and so do all our young pitching prospects. But Jackie and Iggy EARNED their spots this spring. Let their play dictate where they play! I know Ells will probably bail, but you never know!
  9. Let the kids play!
  10. Missing out on a year before eligibility for only 20 games does seem shortsighted but I think if there was ever a time to do it, it's this team right now. There's an open spot on the roster and hes super hot going into the season. Even if when he slows off, which he obviously will at some point, and David gets back you could just send him down for a while to save that eligibility. I think there is little doubt the best possible Sox lineup for April 1 is above, anything else I think is a disapointment. After the past few seasons I want to see a little urgency, and a real change of culture, rather than more "promising" commercial ads.
  11. That's a lineup sox fans can get excited about! With a little luck maybe they can keep up their ST numbers and stay on the club all year
  12. bradley and iglesias starting the season????
  13. I just want to see Iggy at short and Jackie in right by June and this season will be a success Edit: Best Minor League defenders per BP.... Let 'em play!
  14. What would be better for the kids confidence than a couple solid AB's in the bigs? Let him play!
  15. Seeing as we arent probably going to compete for a championship (unless the pitching staff really balls up and we get hot all at once on O, which cant be ruled out). As a fan of the club I think most entertaining/promising outcome would be the guys on the big league club that are in front of some of our prospects play well, get shipped out, and we get some new prospects and get to watch a new crop of youngsters grow up in Fenway. I'm not sure why y'all are discussing a Bradley contract yet seeing as he's not even cracked the club, but I wont be sour at all if Ells gets ditched (or anyone in the OF) for that kid. Give me something to root for!!!!!
  16. That's what I'm saying! Put it in the record books, Jose will be starting by June!
  17. I thought big contracts werent supposed to hold back this team anymore? Oh well, I do wish him luck but Ill be pulling for Iglesias
  18. What do y'all think are the odds Iggy takes over at SS? I dont know too much about Drew but by all accounts it seems like Jose really worked on his approach at the plate and its paid off this ST. I know I'm rooting for him!
  19. Sox, Yanks, Os, Jays, Rays... but all within 7.5 games. Lots of close races around the league this year with the exception of the Angels who run away, but Tex will be right in the WC hunt.
  20. i think we will be great this year! The Sox will battle for the ALE crown and a WC spot right down into the last week of the season! WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN! But we can hope! I have high hopes for Lester, Buch, WMB and Ells in particular! LETS GO!
  21. I want to be able to talk baseball from anywhere!
  22. What an amazing night of basketball! Celtics, Lakers and the Heat all win on last possessions! WOW!
  23. One of my favorite Red Sox stories of the past several years. The initial diagnosis was heartbreaking to hear for such a promising young kid. But the past few years fight back, only to undergo a second surgery, and start over is more than inspirational, it's indescribable. I wish him nothing but the best, and I will continue to follow his story, he is a true role model.
  24. What a promising looking young prospect! I look forward to seeing him in Boston one day soon! Good luck at the WBC Xander!
  25. ciriaco is better than rolen, dog!
