The red sox need to make a bold move. They need to get stanton out of miami. Trade for him to play right field. They need to lock up pedroia for the long term. get it done the guy said he wants to be a sock for life. try and get ellsburry to extend his contract. lets face it we need him on this team and he is our cf and lead off man. show him the contract. dont let him walk or trade him can you imagine him and stanton in the outfield together. Not to mention this makes our core group of players for the next years to come; Pedroia ellsbury middlebrooks stanton. That is basically 4 out of your top 5 hitters you'll have locked up. i think whatever the price it takes for stanton we need to pay it. he is the kind of player the red sox need to make the dynysty.
As for 1b They should walk away from napoli and either sign laroche or my personal choose trade for either John Smoak or Ike Davis. Both smoak and davis would bring youth to our team and their is not really a cap on their production like laroche being 33. so a three year deal with him is not really what we are looking for. Smoak and davis i believe are 25.

Lester. Buckholtz. Dempster. Doubrant. Acceves or Lackey i think will be our starting rotation unless we could make a move and get another pitcher. I Just dont believe in Lackey i feel we should have kept beckett and sent lackey packing in that deal but whatever thats my personal opinon.
Bullpen is pretty set with
Hanrahan, Bailey, Tazawa, Miller, Breslow, acceves, bard, Morales, Uehara and more so they have a deep pen these names here are to many to put in the bullpen haha. so i say trade some to get smoak. And trade prospects and Mlb ready pitchers to get Stanton. Sign Wilson To fill the pen need after the Trades.
Our bench should have some pretty solid guys on it as well with Ross-C, Gomes-RF. Either Nava or Kalish- OF and Either Holt or ciriaico As utilty infeilder. Gomez to hold down 1b if need be will surley be on the 40 man roster. This is a winning roster i hope that everyone can see that. i hope ben cherington gets the message and makes it happen atleast get stanton. He is the player to have.
