Lester has got to be the Opening Day starter. His biggest biggest obsticle has been his head getting in his way and he needs the vote of confidence. Whomever starts, a winning opening series will be quite a relief after a couple of bleak starts.

I think the AL East is the only division who's standings could be predicted in any order. There's no clear leader and there's no clear dog. It really will be exciting. As far as the WC goes, I am not excited about watching the A's, Rangers, and Angels feast on the Astros and M's, collecting wins.

From what I saw you can buy Yanks @ Fenway tix by getting a pack of 4 games, one of which being vs Yankees. I got a pair of tix in G29 for June 8 vs Angels. The virtual waiting room took about 10 min, that was at 1:30pm on Saturday.

I like the thought of having the 2014 infield as: 1b - WMB 2nd - obviously Pedey SS - Iggy (dependent on a lot of offensive progression) 3b - XB (w/normal progression) -

I think they just extended him earlier this year. It would be nice, however. -
If Bobby V is out, and 1st base is open, and there aren't great 1st basemen free agent options, aside from Napoli, then why hasn't there been any talk of Youk coming back to Boston? I believe he's a free agent this winter. It seems logical to think that he's on the decline. It also seems better for him to be playing first, and a fresh start could turn him back in the right direction. I'm not saying I love this idea, nor that I think it'll happen. It's just a thought.
