  1. No love for Paul or Nash?
  2. I'm pretty sure that off-balanced threes in regular time don't hit their mark many times. Why do teams settle for isolation hero shots?
  3. Red Sox won't be a series threat until Bailey shows he is the same pitcher he was in Oakland. Aceves would have to be one of the worst closers that has ever played for a championship winning baseball team.
  4. I know everyone says that, and they do, but you can't discount that Ginobelli is probably the third best SG in the league. Better than Harden. Duncan and Parker are stars in their own right. Plus, they play defense, and the Thunder, for all the energy the show are still pretty poor in that aspect. San Antonio is the team the Thunder want to be, and the master is going to be on full display tonight. Should be an excellent display.
  5. They won't have anything for the Spurs interior players without Bosh. The Spurs bigs can just clog the middle of the lane and help on drives from Wade and LBJ. They'll have the best two players in the series, but nothing else. Chalmers would be the third PG off the bench on the Spurs. Anthony, Battier, and Haslem probably wouldn't even make the Spurs' active roster.
  6. Spurs are 28-3 in their last 31 games, 22-3 in their last 25 road games, and two of those losses came when they rested their starting lineup. They're also 43-4 in the last 47 games that Parker has played. I think it will take more than 7 games for them to lose 4 more. They are just too deep for the Thunder.
  7. I think LBJ is going to have to wait another year. I think the Spurs will take them pretty easily. If Bosh sits, they'll get swept.
  8. I really think people hate Schilling because of his personality. Josh Hamilton is a devout Christian and no one hates him for that.
  9. That's not what I said. I said that it's too hasty to draw any final conclusions on the trade with just two months of data.
  10. Bailey is the closer when he is healthy. There's no question about that. I think we should wait until we see what he can do before we can rule on this trade.
  11. Spurs are going to win in 5.
  12. Don't forget MJ played with Pippen, who was one of the best at the time, and LBJ is definitely better than Kobe. When he gets some hardware it will be more obvious.
