It’s entertainment to us but business to them. If my company fired me and when I left I felt they had done me wrong…I would not entertain the idea of attending a celebration to honor the company. I wish it was different but I respect him not wanting to take part.

It was 1986 and my dad had gone to Boston for work and it was during the ALCS. When he came home he had picked up my brother and I a ton of Sox swag. I was 8 and from that point forward my roots as a baseball fan had been planted. Used to be TWIB and the rare national broadcast were the only way I got to see the Sox play...thank God for technology. The bandwagon has got thinner and less people want to talk sox around here...I need the conversation and this looks like the place to get it. With all that said...hello everybody and GO SOX!
