Hey all. I'm running in the Best Buddies Challenege Hyannis Port in June on Tom Brady's team and in the middle of doing some fundraising. The biggest raffle I've put together (so far...) is an overnight in Boston. Winner will receive 2 GS (sec. 10) tickets to the Sept. 11 Sox/Yankees game, a $50 gift certificate to Jerry Remy's Bar & Grill and a room overlooking Fenway Park at the Hotel Buckminister.
Raffle tickets will be given for donations in the following amounts:
Jacoby Ellsbury Package: Because your help can be fast AND powerful. A $10 donation to Best Buddies buys you 1 ticket
Dustin Pedroia Package: Because you’re willing to do anything for the team. A $20 donation buys you 3 tickets (Only $6.66 per ticket)
Adrian Gonzalez Package: Because you’re smooth AND have deep pockets. A $35 donation buys you 7 tickets (Only $5 per ticket)
Youuuk Package: Because YOUUUU are passionate about good causes. A $50 donation buys you 15 tickets (Only $3.33 per ticket)
Big Papi Package: Because you’re known for coming through in the clutch.
A $100 donation buys you 40 tickets (Only $2.50 per ticket)
John Henry Package: Because you can afford to do some amazing things. A $200 donation buys you 100 tickets (Only $2.00 per ticket)
All of the proceeds benefit Best Buddies International, the sister organization of the Special Olympics. Best Buddies is a non-profit organization founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver in 1989, dedicated to helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities form friendships and find jobs in their community. Remember, your donation is tax deductable.
To get in the running, you can donate directly through my fundraising page at hpchallenge2012.org/jeffvanpelt (couldn't put in the full url) in the one of the amounts listed above. I will receive confirmation of your donation but I would ask that you either IM or email your contact info (name, number, e-mail address) so I can put your ticket(s) in the drawing.
