  1. Well there is our 1 opportunity to see a hitter hit something that was not a mistake...Arod earned his money on that hit.
  2. Especially considering this guy is still throwing like s*** for the most part...I hate it when they insist on trying to pull when they should not and just plain do not make good plate appearances.
  3. Damn cody knows he has trouble with RH pitchers..why still try to pull somethin' like that...just take it to right
  4. Oh Cody think you are going to wish you had that one back to swing at
  5. C'mon Sox...this guy is still throwing s*** up there...tag somethin'
  6. Damn, that was a good pitch for Nava to hit. At least he moved the runner over.
  7. While it looks like these guys are a mimic for each other, Beckett is right now making more good pitches than Karoda is. Hopefully we can take advantage. Punto must be beside himself
  8. Hey I have not really seen one way or the other but are the Yanks not going shift for any of the usual shift guys like Salty and Ortiz?
  9. great inning for Josh....I always like giving the guy the chance to come out for the next inning but would have been goin' nuts again if had started letting guys get on again.....Hopefully he can keep it up and we can get more runs off this bum.
  10. This guy sucks tonight thank God
  11. C-mon Papi....for crying out loud....this is going to be a slugfest at this point....we don't get double digit runs we will lose this game
  12. Man how I wish this guy throws it right there again to David
  13. I just hope V does not push this with Josh. We have a chance to win this game but at some point I really think Josh is just going to implode....again
  14. Well ya' but if you remove the first start against Detroit and that start against the Guardians and that 4th inning against God only knows....Beckett is on the way to the ASG! The sorry part of this is that of the so called big 3....he has been the most consistent of those three starters
  15. Notice when he is off how much Beckett is wild right in the middle of the plate...he is fooling nobody....simply a matter of whether they hit these multiple mistake pitches. Horse-face had two cookies and just missed them
  16. Please do not let this guy stay out there for long V...it is not going to work!
  17. I really hope V has a short lease on Beckett....He may improve some but usually these don't go well for Josh when it is this sort of issue. If he does not get guys on base fine but please do not let him get multiple guys on base.
  18. I guess it should be expected with Chavez....he really has been chewed up over there. I still really think that third does take a good deal out of a guy....Youk is really not the only example
  19. Nicky is tellin' himself that is the best pitch to hit he has seen in weeks
  20. Has Chavez actually been falling off defensively? I just have not gotten to see him play lately.
  21. What a great spot for Salty to come up.....HR is likely the only good result we would have gotten there and Salty delivered!! Damn I just could not get the post up there fast enough.
  22. Please just get a hit Agons
  23. I just hope the first question they ask V in the post gamer is what Josh looked like coming up to this start. I guess I should just expect the same ********...."looked great" but for crying out loud these games are really serious business...the Sox have no more rope left to let out and this is every time with Beckett after a layoff.....are they tellin' me they did not look for this in his off day work before this start? Frankly I have been more impressed with V than I expected to be but McClure drives me bat s*** crazy.
  24. Does this coaching staff watch how this guy pitches ramping up to his starts after time off. I refuse to believe that he was not throwing like this all way up to tonight. What the hell do they expect? This is not an excuse. Beckett is part of this f***ed up starting rotation and the fact that he has to take so much time off and then stinks up the joint on his first start back is a matter of record now and a part of the starting rotation problem. But the f*** are they lookin' at? "Oh yea Bobby I think he will be fine come Friday night" How bout' you Josh, think you will be OK" "Oh yea I feel fine right now" I was thinkin' it would take a few series against better hitting teams to finally end this discussion about the starting pitching coming around. May not take more than one series at this rate.
