    Just noticed that...the O's have been pushed far enough down the last few days that they are well off the pace now. I just don't like the way we are losing games. If you take all the games we blew screwing around with Bailey and the games we have blown the past couple weeks, we would still be leading the division. Farrells in game decision making has sucked all year frankly.

    This totally sucks. The WC races are so tight that if the Sox truly tumble out of the division lead they could be right on the brink of being out completely very quickly.

    Now we can argue again about why games in hand when tied or behind in the lose column is a better place to be than no games in hand and tied or behind in the lose column. Sox are no longer even masters of their own destiny any longer.

    I don't think so...Farrell was going to live or die with....Villareal. Since when...holy s***. He is going to f***ing outthink himself right out of the post season...never mind the division.

    Farrell does this all too often to me....saves guys for the next game and hopes to get by winning tonights game. Win tonight's game and then rest guys when you already have the series in hand. Farrell does this constantly and I just have no idea why he has to be so ass backwards about s*** like this. He does it within games and he does it game to game.

    What ....was Ortiz totally unable to go tonight? Hindsight is 20 20 but I would have preferred to see the Sox salt away game 2 and then rest guys like Ortiz for game 3 of this series. And Villareal....what..just hand them the game.

    Boy how many times has it paid off for the Sox to have a speed burner in CF who could go and get it.

    They are playing tonight like I would feel my first full day after a day of flying. This is the day that always kills me and it looks like it is killing the Sox.

    Funny...WMB went down unable to lay off of pitches low and headed off the outer third of the plate. Now he can't seem to lay off pitches low and running in on his hands. Better stop that before pitchers start pitching to that hole like they pitched to the low and outside hole.

    Just noticed Ross has abandoned his hockey style mask. We gotta get some runs...this bum is throwing near batting practice pitches.

    Boy is this SF team a loooooong way from their championship teams. Errors in the field (that was an error on the WMB grounder)...sort of willy-nilly at the plate......

    As unrealistic as it might seem...I would bet that if Nava and Ells had a footrace on the base paths, Ells would hit home before Nava hit 3rd.

    Don looks like he has a man crush for Eck. Eck was commenting about how much he likes the freedom and the room afforded by the size and space of the SF press box....maybe there is more to that comment than meets the eye.;)

    Nobody is questioning anybodies fandom. I don't think VA's comment to me had anything to do with the question you asked. You asked a question. I gave yo an answer from one man's perspective.

    Well if you really must know, just speaking for myself, we always know the lineups will be posted. We all know that VA has the job and VA knows it. Of any 162 game season, I am going to guess that VA might be late maybe once or twice per year. That kind of consistency is hard to beat and something one grows to appreciate when one understands how much effort that takes over 162 games.

    Sox are really well set up to sweep in SF. That would be nice heading for LA. Having traveled a good deal in my life, when going coast to coast it never was the day of the flight that gave me any trouble. It was always the first full day after the day of the flight when I felt off tilt. This game might be tougher in that regard than last night's was. Still though, a great chance to sweep I think since they should take tonight's game.

    Remember, the 10th hole is on the back nine. I think he is past the half way mark if only slightly.

    I just don't think Demps can out-pitch Workman at this point even considering Workman's lack of experience. Does not mean I think Workman is a great option but he is a better option than any other the Sox have at this point...surely a better option than Demps if you need somebody to start a game.
