    What the f*** does Dodger stadium have at home plate...natural sponge under the clay. The ball just dies there, twice tonight. Of course that does make sense. These Dodgers don't run worth s***. They don't run. They don't field. They don't actually play recognizable baseball.

    So it looks like Cora is going Eo to the end and hoping one of these guys we have in this game runs into something. There is simply no way the guys we have in this batting order can put together a rally for even a run. Heck if somebody gets to 3rd base other than Holt, JBJ, X or Mookie they won't make it home on a warning track shot.

    I should just say it. I think Cora is dictating that this series gets back to Boston by pouring so much into this game. So now he has a totally f***ed up infield, a totally f***ed up outfield, a totally f***ed up batting order and his projected Game 4 pitcher pitching in relief in game 3.

    I could give a crap what Buck and Smoltz think. They are rooting for an extended series, them and everybody else outside of Red Sox fans. MLB headquarters admin is probably in church lighting candles tonight.

    Fox needs to come up with a better booth selection than Smoltz/Buck. Smoltz would be OK if he were not paired with Buck. Buck and anybody is just a terrible combination.

    Mookie appears to have fallen into one of his overthinking it funks again. When you swing at THAT 0-0 pitch, you walked to the plate telling yourself you were going to swing at the 0-0. He needs to snap out of it. Beuhler has really screwed with their heads for no particular good reason.

    So do we now think Cora knew something about JBJ v Baez selection of pitches?

    No telling if Kinsler would have gotten past that tag if he had gotten a decent jump. The fact is, he got a terrible jump on a throw that was up the line. I just have no idea where his head was from the time he hit 1st base as a pinch runner.

    Kinsler's jump was terrible. Its like he did not expect to be sent. That is really kinda' stupid. You have to be prepared to go. That was a terrible set of base running plays by Kinsler. He was certainly not better than the moment.

    They had to take that shot at getting Kinsler home. Nunez did not get enough of that to drive Bellinger back. But still and all, you have to take that shot IMO. You have to push the Dodgers defense. They suck in the field.
