I am a Yankee fan posting for the first time here and even though our lead is 3.5, I don't trust our starting rotation in the playoffs. It does not matter who wins the division because both opponents are equally tough, the Rangers and the Tigers. The Rays would have to go on an insane tear to overtake you, because remember in a 4 game series they would pick up only 2 games by taking 3 of 4, and they are due to lose some games. The way I see it Lackey got over 80 million and he has playoff experience so he is gonna get the ball. Francona may go 3 man with Wakefield doing long relief. It's all about who gets hot and when so no matter how bad it looks you just have to get on a roll. We actually have similar problems with pitchers who can get lit up at any given moment, but I like our bullpen. Anyway, get off the ledge.
