    Brutal night for E-Rod.... I was checking the stats on ESPN and couldn't believe we went through 7 pitchers at the time I checked..... Something tells me the this won't be the last time the bullpen gets this much work. Though Price and Porcello have been playing good lately this rotation still doesn't seem what it was last year especially Sale and E-Rod.

    I won’t be watching the game as I’ll be watching the Raptors. So they should win. Generally they win the games I don’t watch.

    Jays just swept this team twice in a row in dominating fashion. For god sakes Sox. Win this series!!!!

    This team is just so hot and cold I don't know what to think. As I mentioned before, the starting rotation is getting hot which is nice and even Sale (who was far from perfect) ended up having a decent game against a good Tampa team. If the bats could just say consistent we would be competing for the division.

    Agreed. He might be streaky at times but I like Porcello. He’s a solid 3rd or 4th guy. Hell at this point he’s well out performing our Ace.

    Sadly I agree completely. The only thing is we seem to have turned a corner with the pitching. But with this offense still inconsistent and the bullpen isn’t exactly stellar. We would need the starters to basically go seven shutout innings for us to have a chance. May just not be our year unfortunately.

    Agreed completely. Looked like it was about to turn around but then they go back to this. Just can’t get out of the bottom ten offense hole this season. Night and day from last seaso.

    In fairness 7 innings 4 runs. This s*** offense should have come through. But I don’t expect much of them anymore.

    If our offense was half was it was last year we would be very good. Pitching has been good for us.

    We’ll sale rebounded nice. Offense can come anytime now.

    Sale at least settled down after the first couple innings. So I guess..... we have that.

    Honestly when the team sucks it’s cancer for everyone. He may lead the league in errors but the entire team including our “ace” is s***ing the bed. He doesn’t even give us a remote chance. It’s not like Porcello who started his last start kind of shaky but then was rock solid for the next 4 innings. I don’t even trust Sale can go another 3 innings. Devers making errors is one thing. But the offense (although looked like the bats finally woke up) are now back to s***. Tampa has more runs than we have hits in the last 2 games.

    Doesn’t help that our “ace” can’t even give us a chance. One start he has lasted more than 5 innings so far this year. I really thought with the rotation getting it together that Sale would too but something is up with him. Whether it’s the pressure of the contract signing or an injury but the guy flat out sucks right now and it’s frustrating. Price, Porcello and E Rod have been very good. Sale just can’t seem to piece it together.

    Price ERA is getting good! Probably wondering where the offense is today.

    I keep thinking they will get on a role. Won 5 of their last 7 but it seems as soon as they get on a role they put an effort like this out there and lose. Still lots of time to win. Price is keeping us in it.

    They seem to get us excited that they turn the corner and then snatch it away. Still early though. The bats will come through.
