  1. Cora has gone mad. He doesn’t know if he wants to sink or fight lol. He’s gone bonkers.
  2. So we are losing tonight is what you’re saying.
  3. Lol I demand this thread name be changed.
  4. Porcello will go 7 strong and get us a win don't worry
  5. Exactly! Let the man pitch, and hope to hell he has a better outing than last time lol.
  6. Agreed, and with a decent team and healthy I am sure he would have done a lot better. Luck under a brutal O line and injuries also wasn't that great in 2016. Happens to the best of them, my original point though is guys like Rodgers, Brees, Brady will always get in the Pro Bowl by their popularity no matter how bad a season they have.
  7. Also I definitely disagree about last year. Maybe up until the last couple years Rodgers has been a top 3 QB but last year I put Brady, Brees, Rivers, Luck, Mahomes (even though I don't like Mahomes) and maybe Goff ahead of Rodgers.... Though Goff went downhill the second stretch of the season so it's close. It's hard to tell how much better Rodgers would have been with a solid O-line... But the O line wasn't solid and the Packers struggled to put up more than 17 points in a lot of the games so have to go off the facts. His picks were down compared to the rest but he wasn't slinging the ball like he normally does and trying to make ridiculous plays. Almost like his confidence was shot after missing a chunk of the 2017 season which definitely happens to players.
  8. I watched 11 of the 16 games last year. He had a bad O line I will give you that and maybe that is what rattled him but some of his passes were flat out awful. The Patriots game comes to mind. The second half he couldn't hit the backside of a house. I'm sure it wasn't all his fault as the O line can definitely hurt a QB's confidence (though Peyton Manning did well with one of the worst O lines in NFL in 2010) And same with Luck, regardless.... Rodgers will rebound but my point still stands. He would make the Pro Bowl even if he had an average year last year which he did regardless what the stats say. It's just a popularity vote.
  9. Why wouldn't Porcello pitch? He pitched 5 days ago. Should be fine to go today one would think.
  10. Weird, Kimbrel's first start with Chicago looked decent against Atlanta but wow his last 2 starts have been ugly.....Being off that long definitely hurts a player. Hope it was worth the money Chicago.
  11. Agreed, if the offense didn't have a few run lead he would have blown it. He definitely was a heart attack
  12. A lot can happen from here till 2020. Everyone is frustrated with this team as they should be, but we are still just 2 games out of a playoff spot. If this team wins this series against the Jays and Detroit and we are back in a playoff spot and continue to compete in the second half people won's say too much. I comment on players and if they suck or not like Sale or Mookie. But I'll hold off comments till after the season to see what this team does.
  13. Those stats are way padded. Go back and watch some of his games. Rodgers is good..... DAMN good but the point I am trying to make is he makes the Pro Bowl based off his name rather than his play. His interceptions were down because most of his throws were 10 yards or shorter.... There is a reason why the Packers were ranked 13th in offense. They were very very average last year and Rodgers was missing on a lot of throws he normally doesn't miss on. I have a few friends that were frustrated with Rodgers last year saying he wasn't making the tight throws he normally does to give his team a chance at a first down or scoring... Which is another reason he didn't have many interceptions. If you don't throw the ball in tight windows for a play good chance it wont be picked off.... Also a reason why the Packers finished with 6 wins. There is a reason why 5 of the 10 losses the Packers had they only managed to score 17 points and the other 5 losses were 24 or less. If Rodgers was as good as those stats show Green Bay would have been nearly undefeated.
  14. Agreed on all this. Also if they could maybe get some of our rotation to go more than.... I dunno.... 5 friggin innings!!!! Even the best bullpen in baseball will struggle when they constantly have to be out there for half the game.
  15. Sale should be disgusted with himself
  16. Well good night. We suck. See you guys tomorrow.
  17. God Beniwsucks. This team is brutal tonight
  18. Offense not here when needed. Xander bad tonight.
  19. He’s getting desperate. Probably wasn’t expecting our Ace to s*** the bed yet again.
