  1. He’s rusty. It will come. Hopefully.
  2. Didn’t see it. Was putting my son to bed but Eovaldi sure didn’t have a nice night.
  3. Give E Rod all the starts. He has been beautiful.
  4. Agreed!! Hopefully he has over come that.
  5. E Rod looks unreal lately. A new pitcher.
  6. Definitely. Losing the series to Baltimore was killer.
  7. Lmao everyone is hitting.
  8. This starter for Tampa is a solid pitcher but doesn't go anything more than 4 innings.....so..... we have that......
  9. Funny enough, when Sale wasn't trying to over throw he had a very nice stretch earlier this season. I don't know why he feels the need to over throw and try and be fancy when his slider, curve and breaking work just fine as is. Does he have the fast ball he used to? No he does not.... Though in the Jays game he can still get it up to 97 however the accuracy is not even close when he is throwing it that fast...... He has enough talent with his other pitches and his fast ball at 92 to give us 6 or 7 solid innings. I hope he realizes that at the end of the season. He is not the Sale of last year but he can still be very very effective if he stopped trying so damn hard and settled down. With that said he was fantastic his last start so let's hope that continues the rest of the way.
  10. It's a baseball thing. I feel the same about the Yankees..... Yet my most hated team in the NHL the Canucks.... I still would rather see the Sens win over the Canucks losing lol. NFL same thing.... Though I enjoy watching the Steelers and Patriots lose I will still take a Colt win any day over those teams losing.
  11. Which I think is ******** that they changed the baseball even if it's a minor change I don't care. Simple.... DON'T CHANGE STUFF. Why don't we start using the CFL footballs in the NFL and see if QB's can throw the ball as far. Maybe Porcello needs the off season to work on a few things with these new balls I dunno. But this recent stretch of his hopefully won't continue. Gives us almost zero chance when he can't even go 6 innings and gives up 5 plus a game.
  12. That is fair.... My question is, with this starting rotation that was suppose to be so good (on paper) when will they win us a game? When is the last game the pitching won for us when the offense had an off day? My thoughts are Minnesota when Porcello went 7 shutout innings and we only put up 2 runs in that game.... And I can't remember the last game before that. I swear unless this offense puts up 6 plus runs a game we lose. But that is probably the reason why we are in the bottom 10 in pitching. If we didn't have the number 1 offense we would be one of the worst teams in the league.
  13. Exactly this.... Porcello started the season last year to the point we thought he was going to have a similar season to his CY Young, but the last couple months were ugly from his.... That is just what you have to expect with Porcello unfortunately.... He is the definition of inconsistent. He can give you a rock star type game like he did against Texas and Minnesota..... But then he can give you games like he has the last 5 starts.... Utter s***. But that is just to be expected with a 4th and 5th man in a rotation. Not too often your 4th and 5th starter are going to give you 7 innings of 3 runs or less otherwise they wouldn't be your 4th or 5th starter... Good chance they are your ace or 2nd guy. I am still in for signing Porcello if the price is right. As long as he keeps giving us 6 innings of baseball this offense has a chance to win. However with this recent stretch (outside of the Jays game) Porcello hasn't given us 6 innings.Yankees, Tigers and Orioles all were brutal starts with the Jays being an average at best start.
  14. Been saying for weeks now that this is the most important stretch of baseball for us this season. Lose these series, pack your bags and start selling...... Losing to Baltimore like that however gave me no confidence that we have a chance.... This season is dwindling for me.
  15. Wow. Well said.
  16. Luckily Colts don’t have to play the pats this year. Of course there’s a chance in the playoffs. I just want to get revenge against the Chiefs.
  17. With back to back to back to back series against Tampa and New York he is going to have an extended rest.
  18. Don’t worry folks. The Colts and that beautiful Andrew Luck season is coming soon
  19. How the hell is this offense going to do against Tampa’s pitching??? We might never get a run
  20. At this point we won’t even make playoffs. We are now. What..... 4 games out of a playoff spot? With Tampa and New York coming up. Time to start thinking about next season. Cora is a fool if he says the same generic crap of “we will be ok” more than half the season is gone. No we won’t be ok. We just lost a series to friggin Baltimore
  21. Agreed. More than enough chance to win. But their pitcher made us look foolish.
  22. I don’t even know anymore 6 innings. 4 runs. Probably considered good compared to some of the trash we have had this year but still not good. This offense has been dreadful though.
  23. Yup if we lose this series. Tampa and New York we are toast. I mean..... probably toast if we lose this series regardless.
