    We will be good enough. Maybe not top 5 but if Sale, Price, E Rod and Eovaldi pitch even half decent we will be a playoff team. That’s a big IF though. Pitching is still our main focus in my opinion.

    Workman arguable was the toughest pitcher to hit against this season. If the OP or any poster thinks he’s a problem they need their head examined immediately or drug tested. Workman should be signed long term.

    Huh? That doesn’t make sense Our offense was number one for most of the season, top 5 right now. Offense wasn’t, is not, and will not be our problem. Pitching is. Tampa Offense isn’t even close to ours and they are a playoff team because of good pitching. If our rotation is half decent next year we will be a force again like last year.

    Don’t know much about Ward but heard good things. Might see him sooner rather than later.

    Offense is fine. Cheaper or not this rotation was an epic failure and disappointment. On paper we had the best rotation in the league or one of them a top 5. And instead it was one of the worst. Putrid
