    Depends on the station. 1100, 1480, and 104.5fm all delay the broadcast a few extra seconds because a TON of people do this.

    Our TV announcers make it a point to throw out every sports cliche' and annoying pet peeve of sports broadcasting to actual sports fans as much as possible. RBIs, pull with 3 runs (5-2 score)... you name it.

    Just got in from helping with flood rescue... lotta rain tonight, lot of stranded cars because people are too stupid to understand you can't drive a ford escort into a 5 foot deep flooded road. Frightening that the Guardians are still getting good pitching from each starter, but are falling off of the map when it comes to run support. Maybe you guys should bring in Bard for the 9th?

    Ironically you can "thank" suns. There are a lot of people in this area that don't like people like that being the "face" of our area. I mean heck, those of us that live in N.E. Ohio don't live here because of the great jobs, great weather, or because the championship professional sports franchises. We stay and live here because we love the area and it's part of us. Kinda like people from NY are proud of that... but we don't need a tacky white t-shirt to tell everyone about it.

    Shouldn't you be able to get the games via the IHeartRadio app that clearchannel puts out there?

    I'd love to go to tribe games... but I live in Ohio right now and the economy is terrible so I am broke as a joke. MLB wants way too much ($25 ticket x 4, $9 beer, $4 hotdog, $20 parking). (Plus I live an hour south of Cleveland and it would about $40 in gas... that's what $160 before hotdogs and beer... that's a hell of a steak, bottle of wine, and whatever else I want from my living room.) I just watch them on the HDTV at home, nice and warm, dry, and great angles of the action. I might go to a game or two this summer, but to be honest a trip to a game isn't worth it to me more than just a couple times.

    Me personally? I hope he feels better and fully recovers in time to get back on the field on Thursday for you guys.
